La trama se desarrolla en <strong>Quito en el a\u00f1o 2001<\/strong>, durante el periodo en que la selecci\u00f3n ecuatoriana luchaba por su clasificaci\u00f3n al <strong>Mundial de Corea del Sur y Jap\u00f3n 2002<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el juego, los usuarios toman el papel de un <strong>ni\u00f1o de ocho a\u00f1os<\/strong>, una representaci\u00f3n inspirada en la infancia del propio Juli\u00e1n Cordero. A lo largo de la historia, el personaje recorre las calles de la ciudad con un bal\u00f3n en los pies mientras interact\u00faa con vecinos, amigos y distintos personajes del barrio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La experiencia se centra en actividades cotidianas que incluyen <strong>regatear, pasar el bal\u00f3n y explorar distintos espacios urbanos<\/strong>, creando una narrativa \u00edntima que refleja la vida cotidiana en la capital ecuatoriana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un proyecto independiente con alcance internacional<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El desarrollo de <strong>Despelote<\/strong> surgi\u00f3 de la idea de Cordero de transformar sus recuerdos de infancia relacionados con el f\u00fatbol en una experiencia interactiva.
