Seg\u00fan el reporte oficial del <strong>Instituto Geof\u00edsico de la Escuela Polit\u00e9cnica Nacional<\/strong>, el movimiento tel\u00farico se produjo a las <strong>01:31<\/strong>, con una profundidad de <strong>45 kil\u00f3metros<\/strong> y su epicentro ubicado a <strong>17,21 km al norte de Guayaquil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfD\u00f3nde fue el epicentro del sismo del 27 de junio en Guayas?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La ubicaci\u00f3n exacta del epicentro fue inicialmente registrada en los alrededores de <strong>Salitre<\/strong>, aunque con el paso de los minutos, la informaci\u00f3n fue actualizada, posicionando el epicentro m\u00e1s hacia el norte de <strong>Guayaquil<\/strong>, espec\u00edficamente a 17,21 kil\u00f3metros. Este tipo de reajustes es com\u00fan en el an\u00e1lisis s\u00edsmico, a medida que se procesa con m\u00e1s precisi\u00f3n la data recolectada por las estaciones de monitoreo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Magnitud y profundidad: claves para entender la percepci\u00f3n del temblor<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>sismo de magnitud 4,8<\/strong> ocurri\u00f3 a una profundidad considerada <strong>media<\/strong> (45 km), lo cual influye directamente en la forma en que se percibe el temblor. Aunque no fue extremadamente superficial, la combinaci\u00f3n de la magnitud y la cercan\u00eda a \u00e1reas densamente pobladas como <strong>Guayaquil<\/strong>, hizo que se sintiera con claridad, especialmente en <strong>pisos altos<\/strong> de edificios residenciales y oficinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Usuarios en <strong>Twitter, Facebook e Instagram<\/strong> comentaron sus experiencias durante el temblor. Muchos mencionaron haber sentido un sacud\u00f3n leve pero r\u00e1pido, mientras que otros lo describieron como un movimiento ondulante, similar al de una ola. En general, la percepci\u00f3n fue mayor en sectores como <strong>Urdesa, Alborada, Samborond\u00f3n y centro de Guayaquil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Respuesta inmediata de las autoridades locales<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ante el sismo, el <strong>Municipio de Guayaquil<\/strong> activ\u00f3 protocolos de emergencia de manera preventiva. Equipos de <strong>Gesti\u00f3n de Riesgos<\/strong>, <strong>Cuerpo de Bomberos<\/strong>, <strong>Agentes de Control Municipal<\/strong>, y personal de <strong>Obras P\u00fablicas<\/strong> fueron desplegados para recorrer diferentes sectores de la ciudad. El objetivo: <strong>verificar posibles da\u00f1os estructurales o afectaciones humanas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hasta el momento, no se han reportado <strong>v\u00edctimas mortales ni da\u00f1os materiales de gran magnitud<\/strong>, aunque algunos edificios realizaron <strong>evacuaciones preventivas<\/strong> en horas de la madrugada, como medida de seguridad. Tambi\u00e9n se realizaron inspecciones en infraestructuras sensibles como <strong>hospitales, puentes y escuelas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Recurrente actividad s\u00edsmica en la provincia del Guayas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Este evento no fue un hecho aislado. Tan solo d\u00edas antes, el <strong>22 de junio<\/strong>, un <strong>sismo de magnitud 5,6<\/strong> sacudi\u00f3 el cant\u00f3n <strong>Naranjal<\/strong>, seguido por otro de <strong>magnitud 3,9<\/strong> el d\u00eda <strong>24 de junio<\/strong>, lo que indica una <strong>secuencia s\u00edsmica activa<\/strong> en la regi\u00f3n. El <strong>Instituto Geof\u00edsico<\/strong> ha advertido que la actividad tect\u00f3nica en el <strong>golfo de Guayaquil<\/strong> est\u00e1 relacionada con diversas <strong>fallas geol\u00f3gicas activas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Las fallas s\u00edsmicas m\u00e1s relevantes en la zona<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>sism\u00f3logo Mario Ruiz<\/strong>, reconocido experto en la materia, explic\u00f3 que existen m\u00faltiples fuentes s\u00edsmicas activas en la zona costera de Ecuador. Entre las m\u00e1s destacadas se encuentra la <strong>falla de Pallatanga<\/strong>, que atraviesa \u00e1reas como la <strong>isla Pun\u00e1<\/strong> y se extiende hacia la cordillera. Esta falla tiene la capacidad de generar <strong>movimientos tel\u00faricos de corta profundidad<\/strong>, lo cual hace que se perciban con <strong>mayor intensidad<\/strong> a nivel superficial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de la falla de Pallatanga, existen <strong>microfallas locales<\/strong> y la influencia de la <strong>subducci\u00f3n de la placa de Nazca bajo la placa Sudamericana<\/strong>, que generan una actividad s\u00edsmica constante en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 se sienten m\u00e1s los sismos nocturnos?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Una pregunta com\u00fan entre la poblaci\u00f3n es por qu\u00e9 los sismos nocturnos se sienten m\u00e1s. La respuesta tiene que ver con factores como el <strong>menor ruido ambiental<\/strong>, la <strong>posici\u00f3n horizontal del cuerpo al dormir<\/strong>, y la <strong>menor actividad urbana<\/strong>, lo que permite una percepci\u00f3n m\u00e1s clara del movimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante la madrugada del 27 de junio, muchas personas reportaron haberse despertado por el movimiento, mientras que otras no lo sintieron en absoluto. Aquellos en pisos altos, como edificios de departamentos, fueron los m\u00e1s propensos a notar el sismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Monitoreo constante del Instituto Geof\u00edsico<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>Instituto Geof\u00edsico<\/strong> mantiene un monitoreo <strong>24\/7<\/strong> de la actividad s\u00edsmica en todo el Ecuador. Gracias a una red de <strong>sensores s\u00edsmicos<\/strong> distribuidos estrat\u00e9gicamente, los datos se recogen y analizan en tiempo real, permitiendo ofrecer <strong>informes precisos<\/strong> pocos minutos despu\u00e9s de que ocurre un evento s\u00edsmico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La informaci\u00f3n es publicada en canales oficiales como su <strong>p\u00e1gina web<\/strong>, sus cuentas en <strong>Twitter y Facebook<\/strong>, y mediante <strong>boletines informativos<\/strong>. Se recomienda a la ciudadan\u00eda estar atentos solo a <strong>fuentes oficiales<\/strong> y evitar la difusi\u00f3n de rumores o desinformaci\u00f3n que puedan causar p\u00e1nico innecesario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Importancia de la preparaci\u00f3n ante sismos en zonas urbanas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque el sismo del 27 de junio no caus\u00f3 da\u00f1os mayores, es un <strong>recordatorio claro de la vulnerabilidad s\u00edsmica de Guayaquil y otras ciudades del litoral ecuatoriano<\/strong>. La alta densidad poblacional, la ubicaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica y la tipolog\u00eda del suelo hacen necesario que se mantenga una <strong>cultura preventiva<\/strong> constante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las autoridades recomiendan tener listo un <strong>plan de emergencia familiar<\/strong>, contar con un <strong>botiqu\u00edn de primeros auxilios<\/strong>, linterna, radio de bater\u00edas, y conocer las rutas de evacuaci\u00f3n en el hogar, el trabajo y centros de estudio.
